Temporary Event Notices

Planning an event that includes alcohol, entertainment or late-night refreshments?

You may need a Temporary Event Notice (TEN). A TEN allows licensable activities on unlicensed premises, or temporary changes to an existing licence. 

Events must have fewer than 500 people and last no longer than 7 days. 

✅ Apply online through Leeds City Council
✅ Submit at least 10 working days before your event (or 5–9 working days for a Late TEN)
✅ Keep a copy of your notice and display it at the event
